Strathmore Heights Cricket Club was formed in the season of 1977-78 as a result of the amalgamation of Strathmore Presbyterians and St Aidans. The club originally played under the name of St Aidans Uniting up until the 1986-87 season where upon the club changed to its current name of Strathmore Heights Cricket Club to reflect its home base of Boeing Reserve, Strathmore Heights. 


The club continues to call Boeing Reserve home to this day. The club enters sides in a variety of competitions, providing opportunities for players of all skill levels. We currently enter four senior sides into the North West Metropolitan Cricket Association (NWMCA). We have two sides in the 2-day hard wicket competition, as well as two sides in the one day competition. We also have under 10s, 12s and14s  sides which play in the NWMCA Friday night competition and Under 16s on Saturday morings. Also on Friday nights we have the Woolworths Junior Blasters programfor kids aged 9 and under. This season we will also again be running our Under 15 girls team which plays on Wednesday nights


In addition to this we also have two sides which takes part in the ever expanding Mid Year Cricket Association (MYCA). Now in our ninth year of participation in the competition we welcome players from other clubs to join us for the winter competition as it doesn’t affect their registration for their summer club.


The Strathmore Heights Cricket Club is affiliated with the Goods Sports Program and as of December 2006 achieved a level 3 accreditation for management of alcohol. In 2005 the club won the region's nomination for the Good Sports Club Metropolitan Winner.


Strathmore Heights Cricket Club prides itself on providing a highly enjoyable, friendly and competitive atmosphere for playing cricket. We welcome players of all skill levels and from all backgrounds. We seek to provide all players the opportunity to enjoy and improve their cricket. The club has a fantastic social atmosphere, with many enjoyable events held throughout the season.



Senior training sessions run from 5:30-7:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights from mid-September continuing through the season. Matches are played Saturday afternoons commencing at 1pm.
